Shipment and delivery

No deliveries between the 24th of July and the 9th of August 2010!

We ship worldwide. In many cases we can ship the day you ordered. The cost of shipment includes a very small handling fee and the cost of package. To keep the package cost as low as possible, we use recycled packing material whenever possible.

Depending on their locations, customers have several shipment options:

TNT IP-plus zone 1 (EU countries)

A flat fee for all our customers from EU countries (except the Netherlands) 15 euros.

Shipment is insured up to 500 euros. TNT (Royal Dutch Mail) is the leading Dutch mail and express company. Max 800 grs plus package

TNT IP-plus zone 2 (non EU European countries)

A flat fee for all our customers from non EU European countries 24 euros

Shipment is insured up to 500 euros. TNT (Royal Dutch Mail) is the leading Dutch mail and express company. Max 800 grs plus package

TNT worldwide registered-insured mail, (insurance not available in some countries) 

A low cost but safe air-mail service for worldwide delivery outside Europe: 15 euros. Shipment of bows in tube-packing only:

Violin and viola bows: 3 bows max.

Cello bows: 2 bows max.

Double bass bows: 1 bow max.

To many countries registered mail can be insured. As far as our knowledge goes, no insurance can be offered to the following destinations:

but registered mail turns out to be safe enough for most destinations. Transit times may take from 3 -12 days, or even longer to areas at large distances from Europe.

Please check if bows for bowed instruments can be imported without restrictions in your country. Additional documents or permissions will be your concern, NOT ours.

TNT registered/insured (Netherlands Only)

For our Dutch customers the option registered/insured (aangetekend/verzekerd) is the only option. A flat fee of 12 euros and next-day delivery (no delivery in week-ends)

Courrier Service

We can give you a quote for a courrier service (FedEx, UPS, DHL etc.). Fast, secure but very expensive. Depending on your location a quote may vary between 60 and 130 euros per shipment. Please contact us before ordering.
