Our company

As a violin maker, I had over 25 years of experience in the bowed instruments business.

In our (brick mortar) shop in Groningen, the Netherlands I make, repair, restore and sell instruments of the violin family. My customers vary from 4 year-old beginners to international soloists.

Some ten years ago we started to sell strings and accessories on-line in our internet store www.bbviolins.nl, being the first one in the Netherlands and Belgium.

About six years ago I started a still growing collection of carbon and composite bows. Carbon bows -within brand and type- do not differ that much in quality and playing capacities, so I decided to sell them in our internet store as well. Results were overwhelming so we had to reorder with our manufacturers many times.

Since three years we sell carbon and composite bows to ALL countries in the world.
