Composite and carbon may gradually replace pernambuco and brazilwood for new bows. Carbon does not only meet the demand of good bows for a decent price, new hightech production will even provide bows of an outstanding professional level.

Of course older and newly made traditional wooden bows will not disappear from the market. We keep selling them in my  "brick and mortar" shop. Many musicians however, professional and amateur,already discovered the possibilities of the new carbon material for bows.
